How We Can Help: Case Studies

1. Getting the Big Promotion

We coached a technical specialist to secure and transition to a management position. We focused on executive presence and strategic communication, helping the client articulate the value of their healthtech projects to senior leadership. We supported the client to develop a positive mindset, consider the sort of manager they wanted to be and maintain high performance without burnout in the challenging early stages of the transition.

2. Pressure of an FDA Submission

We coached an exec facing mounting pressure with the submission of a novel diagnostic device while managing a demanding team. We focused on three areas: greater delegation to alleviate his workload; contingency planning to address potential regulatory roadblocks; and developing a stronger presence in high-stakes meetings with regulators. This resulted in a more efficient, submission process and boosted team morale.

3. Kicking Ass in Front of Investors

We worked with a founder looking to secure investment and grow her business. Coaching covered two main topics: boosting her confidence in high-stakes presentations, and thinking strategically about how to retain control of the business given the new funding. We helped her develop and prepare her funding pitch and brainstormed the Q and A session.

4. Preventing Burnout

We supported an executive on the verge of burnout to develop and implement a recovery and energy management plan. We enabled him to shift the focus from hours worked to output quality. He established boundaries and built in rest periods, using biometric data to track stress and ensure proactive intervention. This fostered greater creativity at work and better quality of life.
